The Harmony Unleashed Saga: Humanitarian Brotherhood of Love is an American science fantasy film produced by Hollowfox Filmworks, Allspark Pictures, HyperObject Industries, Taralicious Enterprises and distributed by Montalvo Releasing (in North America) and Buena Vista International (internationally) with 20th Century Studios and eOne with Toei Company distributing it in Japan alongside Fox and Buena Vista.

It is the twentieth installment of the Harmony Unleashed Saga's series of films as well as the seventh Humanitarian-themed film.

Based on characters from My Little Pony, The film is directed by David Leitch and written by Dan Sterling, Erica Rivinoja, Chris Morgan, Michael Vogel, and Oren Uziel with a story by Aaron Montalvo, Adam McKay, Morgan, Andrew Francis, and Peter New.

The predecessor's directors, Phil Lord & Christopher Miller are the film's executive producers alongside Leitch, his wife/producer Kelly McCormack, Andrew Francis, Peter New, and Ryan Beil. It is set to be released on December 4, 2020.


After the events of Bright + Butter and the final season of Rondo of Humanity, As Twilight Sparkle and Applejack have cherished their union of love and friendship with each other, Big Macintosh and Shining Armor are preparing for a merged union between the Sparkles and the Apples in both acceptance and happiness, which the latter is a bigger family. However, when a messenger tells them and Zephyr Breeze about the unusual suspects aiming to steal the magic from their siblings and their friends, they accepted the deal to go after them and its army who attempts to stop them and go after the people they love and hold so dearly.

  • Lexi Rabe as Flurry Heart, Shining Armor, and Princess Cadance's daughter (6-year-old as a human), and Twilight Sparkle's niece. Also one of Ivanna's acquaintances since 2016.
  • Lulu Wilson as Cozy Glow, the film's antagonist and an "adopted" daughter of the "real" Grogar.
  • Mads Mikkelsen as Grogar, the film's antagonist and an entity that kept a dark secret behind his disappearance from the show the franchise's based on.
  • Lil Rel Howery as Spearhead, Shining Armor's old friend, former royal guard, and an artist of pop-art and sculpture.
  • John De Lancie as Discord, an expert in chaos who was reformed by Fluttershy and he assumed to be the "key" to Grogar's secret plan to the apocalypse.
    • Tom Ellis is a younger Discord, taking the form of a handsome man to cover himself from his chaotic past as well as committing to his love for Luna.
  • Brenna O'Brien as Twilight Sparkle, the element of magic, a candidate to Celestia's successor, Applejack's girlfriend, and Shining Armor's younger sister.
  • Jake Weary as Applejack, The genderswapped humanized version of Applejack, Twilight's boyfriend, and the Apple family's middle brother (Big Mac's younger brother and Apple Bloom's older brother. (sister in the original version) He's the 
  • Brittany Anne Pirtle as Fluttershy, The element of kindness, Zephyr Breeze's sister and Big Macintosh's boyfriend (outside the show)
  • Peyton List as Apple Bloom, Applejack and Big Macintosh's younger sister and daughter of Bright Mac and Pear Butter
  • Mark Wahlberg as Bright Mac, Father of Applejack, Apple Bloom and Big Macintosh and son of the late Granny Smith.

  • Ryan Reynolds as Effer Maxima, a messenger that aids Mac, Breeze, and Shining into their quest to stop Cozy Glow and Grogar from stealing the magic on Earth and Equestria, while still being a wisecracker. The name is a pun on Deadpool's quote "Maximum Effort". which it's also the name of Reynolds' production company.
    • He previously was set to be cast as Spearhead, but due to the color of the pony's skin, the role had to go to Lil Rel Howery.

The film will be released theatrically (through 2D, 3D, IMAX, and Dolby Cinema), in drive-in theatres and on MontalVue VIP-OD (alongside video-on-demand services) on December 4. 2020.

Originally, it is set to be released on November 13, 2020, but due to the 2019-20 Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic and its concerns, it has been pushed back to February 12, 2021, marking the year where three Harmony Unleashed films are released on the same year. However, with predictions of theatres reopening around July of 2020, the film has moved up for a December 11, 2020 date.

However, with Harmony Unleashed (ft. Any Cartoon Involved): Cartoon Wars pushed back to August 2020 to avoid competition with Christopher Nolan's Tenet, it has now been pushed back to Christmas 2020 (December 25). It remained unchanged when Cartoon Wars pushed back most times due to theatres closing amid Coronavirus resurgence.

In October of 2020, it has been pushed forward for December 4, 2020, with a simultaneous PVOD release on MontalVue and on-demand services being announced.
